Nol Schade was born 1954 in the Netherlands.He studied Art in Leeuwarden but his love for the sea made him come to Zakynthos in his first sailboat at the end of the seventies.

He was a fisherman on Swordfish on the Condor, a fishingboat owned by Nikos Platipodes from Lithakia.

After returning to Holland where he built his current Sailingyacht the Onan he came back to Greece in 2002 where he spent his time sailing around the Islands.

Only recently he started painting again and ofcourse his love for the Sea and Greece is a huge inspiration for his Artwork.
