The procession of the Epitaphios at the Boston Cathedral



On Holy Friday the Annunciation Cathedral of New England youth were present at the vigil to guard and escort the Epitaphios together with Archimandrites, the V. Rev. Cleopas & Pandeleimon. Dr. Demetris Photopoulos, Mr. James Lemonias, Mr. Arthur Anton, Mr. Ted Papaslis, Mr. Demetris Zaferacopoulos and Mr. James Kaselis were holding the Epitaphios and Mr. Andrew Jeas the Cross during the procession. Then, over 800 people attended the Anastasis service at the Boston Cathedral and reaffirmed the fundamental truth of Christianity, "Christ is risen from the dead, bestowing life everlasting!" His Eminence, Metropolitan Methodios of Boston, presided over the Anastasis Service, which was attended by the Cardinal of Boston.
